Through the exhibition of the artist

 the audience had the chance to meet the artist who painted the famous picture "Tamim the Glory", which became a symbol of the unjust blockade on Qatar & viral artwork . This image reflects the society's rejection of the blockade, which has spread widely in a short period of time and was used locally and world-wide. It was presented for the first time at a gallery held in Doha Fire Station “the headquarters of artists in Doha”, for Qatar Museums Authority from 28 to 30 June 2017.

Through this exhibition, a collection of paintings by the artist Ahmed Al-Maadeed, which expresses the national spirit, was presented.

The art exhibition was inaugurated by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani (Chairperson of Qatar Museums Authority).

During the duration of this art exhibition, the artist  meet with his fans and sign exclusive postcards for visitors. The art exhibition was visited by a huge number of people who were excited to see the original painting of “Tamim the Glory”
